ImageTextEdit.app (https://imagetextedit.app) helps you replace existing text in JPG, PNG, WebP images, and screenshots. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the editor, process payments, and provide support:

• Account information: Your name, email address, authentication records, and account settings.
• Billing information: Payment status, product or credit package, and transaction identifiers supplied by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• Image and job data: The source image, selected text area, replacement text, processing status, credit cost, and the resulting file while a job is active.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, logs, and security events needed to keep the service reliable.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• create and secure your account;
• process image editing requests and return your result;
• record credit purchases, deductions, refunds, and failed jobs;
• provide support, service notices, and fraud prevention; and
• diagnose errors and improve reliability.

We do not use uploaded images or replacement text to train general-purpose models unless we first obtain your separate, explicit consent. Do not upload sensitive, confidential, illegal, or unauthorized content.

Image retention and deletion

Images and generated results are temporary job data. We schedule the source file and result for deletion within 24 hours after processing or the last relevant job event. Account, payment, credit, and security records may be kept longer when needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

Service providers

We use infrastructure, authentication, storage, payment, and image-processing providers to operate the service. These providers receive only the data needed for their stated function and must protect it under their own terms and privacy policies. Payment details are handled by the selected payment provider.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for sessions, security, locale preferences, and theme settings. If analytics or other optional services are enabled, they may set additional cookies or collect usage information as described in their own policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to records we must keep for legal or payment reasons. You can also contact us about a privacy question or an image deletion request.
